Sugar Rush is a Pragmatic Play cluster slot on a 7x7 grid made of jelly sweets and lollipops. The game's main idea is cells that remember wins and build up multipliers, doubling them all the way to 128x. The stated RTP is 96.5%, volatility is high, and the max win is 5000x the bet. This is the original of the series, more modest in scale than Sugar Rush 1000.
How the slot pays
There are no paylines: a payout is awarded for a cluster of five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically. Winning sweets disappear, the rest fall down, new ones appear from above, and the cascade continues as long as clusters form.
Multipliers on cells
Every cell where a winning symbol popped gets a mark. If a win happens on the same cell again, a 2x multiplier appears on it, and every following win doubles it: 4x, 8x and so on up to 128x. The multipliers of all cells under a cluster add up and apply to its payout. In the base game, marks reset after the spin.
Free spins
Three scatters trigger ten free spins, and more scatters give more spins. The key difference in the bonus is that marks and multipliers stay on the grid until the end of the round. The grid gradually fills up with multipliers, and the later spins of the bonus become the most valuable.
How it differs from Sugar Rush 1000
In the 1000 version, cell multipliers grow up to 1024x and the win ceiling is higher. The original works the same way but with a 128x cap and a maximum of 5000x the bet, so rounds here end more modestly and the game feels smoother.
Who it suits
Sugar Rush will appeal to those who like watching the grid gradually gain strength. Volatility is high, so long runs without payouts are common. Learn the cell mechanics in demo mode and set your playing budget in advance.
